Gura Humorului is situated on the river Humor and its beauty attracted all the time a lot of tourists who wanted to discover the legendary Bukovina or to visit the medieval monasteries.

Fresh air, amazing destinations to visit starting from here, Gura Humorului became during years one of the best tourism destination in Romania.

The town was mentioned for the first time in a document dated 26th February 1490 by Stefan cel Mare's chancellery but its modern history is dated around 1900 when the town became a commercial center.

Today Gura Humorului is a tourism resort with beautiful landscape and a lot of possibilities to spent your holiday here. A special attraction of Gura Humorului  represent its Natural Park and the Museum of Bukovina Customs, the only one of this type in SE of Europe.

Year by year, Voronet and Humor Monastery attract tourists across the world and Gura Humorului become one of the largest accommodation area in the region. Also Days of the City (in first 2 weeks of June) and the Film Festival “Fall at Voronet” make form Gura Humorului an important city on the map of turism.
